Oh man where to begin...this week has been crazy. As you might have read we are moving to Washington this week from Missouri. We wanted to get a few last minute Missourian things in so we headed to St. Louis on Friday and hit up The Arch, Brewery, and this great Kid's Museum that had an amazing Lego exhibit. One of the coolest museums I have ever been too. I even crawled threw a secret agent air duct. On Sunday we headed the Branson, if you are not from Missouri you might not know what Branson is. Look it up and think about a good family fun vacation. This is not the first time we have ventured down there but it might be out last so we wanted to do the Dixie Stampeded because well it is very Missourian. We also ate at Lambert's...this place was amazing. We walked up and they told us it was an hour wait. I was like no way we can find something else but then my friend told us she has waited up to 2 hours...I was like guess we are luck and man am I happy we waited. First off the wait was like 35 minutes guess they like to over estimate so the don't have angry customers. I had the chicken fried steak (the hen size) and it was bigger then my head. They also have what they call the pass arounds aka all you can eat sides. Now I was not a big fan of the macaroni and tomatoes but the fried potatoes where to die for. Now the crowning moment at Lambert's is the thrown rolls. They throw these huge...hot....fresh rolls right at you. Man was it a good time. Finally yesterday my sister came down with my nephews for Columbus day so I could see them one last time. We hit up goodwill and found some great deals on a Batman costume for him and some rain boots for me. I also helped my poor nephew out because all his pant legs where way to long ...seriously like 5 inches too long and took them in. That brings us to today. I am currently typing this as 3 movers rifle through my stuff. I am never good at this part of a move. I always feel like it is way too overwhelming and honestly I can't stand my house is such disarray but I guess to move on one but fully close the door. Also I feel like my beloved home is no longer mine. All of Ben's legos are packed up, pictures gone, and of course poor Maxwell is howling inside the laundry room. Oh the life of a traveler.

If you know me at all you know that I have quite a few pet peeves....here is one of my many. I believe our mail women is only coming every other day. It totally frost me because I like mail...a lot. When you spend most of your day at home it is something to look forward to. Now I can't confirm this as I don't sit at my window 18 hours a day but I have pretty good reason to believe I am getting jipped out of my daily mail. I am currently doing this Christmas fabric swap (I will talk about this in another post another day I am sure but for this rant it is not particularly important. Only to know I am doing it.) Tuesday I got 4 packages and some mail, Wednesday nothing not even a bill, Thursday 5 boxes and 6 letters (fyi thanks Britney) I mean something seems wrong and this is not the first time so last night I was ranting to Ben and do you know what he said...."Why do you care so much about the mail". I hate to stereo type but for this girl that was not the time to bring it up. He then proceeded to tell me how I always had an issue with it when we lived in Korea. Needless to say all he got last night was cuddling. Anyways my point is I like mail.
On another side note I am currently watching Freak's and Geeks on Netflix and this scene speak true to anyone who every hated this day at school

As per usual I am up late, contemplating my next project. I want to make these for family members as we take our journey around. As a quick side note since our family is just spread out so we actually get to visit a ton of our relatives as we take the 2,000 mile journey to Washington. I thought it would be a nice to have a gift since we will be staying for a bit. Now that being said I am really confused on how I am going to do my next project. I am sure as most crafters I spend 2 days just working out my projects. Usually I have a good direction but I have never really done one of these and although simple I feel like I am missing a step. Today felt like a huge chore day since the move is on my mind...I guess that is a good thing since we are down to 9 days. The highlight was seeing a friend I made in Korea and looking at how adorable happy her child always seems to be. Now that brings me back to the beginning of this blog, I am up way to late eeking out some hours since my husband went to bed at 6:30....loser. What do you like to accomplish when the house is silent? If Ben deploys soon I might need some more ideas.

Today I decided to start informing people of Ben and I's fast pace life. I have always felt like facebook is more about random post not about your life. Now that I am doing so many hobbies, moving to a new state, purchasing a home, and traveling I feel like I need a way to share pictures and thoughts about my life. As you read on you will notice none of this is really important but I think it will be fun to read. These post will be random and since I have the attention span of a gnat they might jump a bit, but if you feel like you can keep up welcome to My World.
Right now I am working on my Lorax quilt and plan to have it finished by tomorrow. It is one of the few projects I have actually done for myself. I am a newer quilted and have only done a small handful of projects. My first true hobby is scrapbooking. I started scrapbooking when I was in high school and well I was horrible. Then I went to college and to stop due to time restriction and funding. Starting my Junior year my now sister-in-law convinced me to join back in. With a never going to pay off loan from my mother I decided to get back into it and now I LOVE paper crafts. A year after college I went to Korea with my husband. When I was in Korea with no job, pet, or husband another person introduced me to sewing. I was almost completely caught up on scrapbooking and I felt like it was another crafty outlet. As one of my friends said "Wow I really thought this was a passing fad" I was surprised how much I liked it and even more surprisingly decent at sewing.
